It was great to get my tampons in a 100 pack and my deodorant in a 3 pack. I also got like a pound of raisins and The Life of Pi by Yann Martel for an extremely good price. I read that book last summer and I have wanted to read it again ever since. I also bought my Mom The Nanny Diaries by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus. I have heard that one is quite good and she liked The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants by Ann Brashares, so I am hoping she will like this. :) It's nice to share this reading love with my mom. Although, mind you, she thinks the classics are crap though. She actually says "Classic books are crap" quite often. I guess she's entitled to her opinion, though. I just find it funny how she can easily say that without having read a book. Meh, I guess.

I just got off the phone not too long ago after talking with my friend Liz. I always have a good laugh when I talk with her. She called me to get her mind off the fact that her parents were going to have a shower together and the fact that they have been acting quite "frisky" lately. GAH! Freaky! I can imagine bad mental pictures. Make them stop! Make them stop! I can't even imagine what she feels like. I suggested that maybe her parents are taking male and female viagra and she admitted that it was probably true. Poor, poor Liz. I just hope she gets out alive or at least not severely mentally disturbed.

We had a good laugh over political mumbo jumbo and also chatted about how this summer we are going bungee jumping and white water rafting. Doesn't sound like Liz wants to do the bungee jumping, but she said she would come and watch Laura and I do it. It should be fun. It's one of those things on my list of things to do before I die so I thought, why not? Last summer we went skydiving and this summer we are going to do something just as crazy. Good fun, good fun.
